Dr. Valdenia "Val" Winn is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 34th district. A Democrat, she has served since 2001. Since 1972, Dr. Winn has worked as a professor at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Dr. Winn currently serves as the Vice President of the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools Board of Education.

Wanda Brownlee Paige is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives serving the 35th District. Wanda is also a member of the Kansas City Kansas USD #500 Board of education. Wanda began her teaching career in the Kansas City, Kansas Public schools where she served for 30 years before retiring in May 2012. Wanda has been dedicated to serving the people of Kansas City her entire life.

Lynn Melton, a legislator, listens to constituents and addresses community issues. She worked four years in city and county government focusing on safety, labor, and community engagement. Before that, she spent over 30 years in finance, including 20 years owning a small business.

Dr. Melissa Oropeza has served as your State Representative for District 37 for the past two terms. She is committed to working collaboratively with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find practical solutions and ensure that Kansans have access to the opportunities, resources, and support they need to thrive.

Richard Paz is a retired Army Colonel and lifelong public servant fighting for affordable healthcare, quality education, and real property tax relief for every family in District 38.
